The Environment
Parsifal College campus is located at
Steiner House 307 Sussex Street
Sydney. This is within the Central Business District of the city.
Steiner House is in close proximity to all the facilities you would
come to expect of a vibrant city like Sydney. We are within five
minutes of the Darling Harbour Complex which has excellent harbour side
facilities. Included in this are wonderful gardens, numerous
restaurants and bars and a numerous entertainment options. Parsifal
College is also close to China Town which has great eateries and good
shopping facilities. The city center is an easy walk away. Sydney city
is home to excellent art galleries and museums as well as a variety of
beautiful parks and gardens.
The College has rooms for painting,
sculpture and tutorials. There is

Accommodation and Transport
Accommodation can be an issue close to the city center but is more
reasonably priced in the suburbs. Often students coming to Sydney
to study with Parsifal College cooperate in share accommodation
arrangements.
Public transport to Parsifal College is excellent. The closest
railway station is Town Hall. The college is just a few minutes from
this station. Numerous private and public buses service the city center
usually ending up at Queen Victoria Building five minutes from the
Parsifal College.

Full time students are eligible for a
travel concession on
public transport.
Student Assistance
Students who require pick-up from the
airport or assistance
with finding accommodation are asked to contact Parsifal College at
least four weeks before arrival. Parsifal College can offer assistance
in obtaining information about accommodation, travel and the needs of
everyday life.
Student Welfare and Support Services
Once the course has begun, tutors and
the Course Coordinator
monitor the progress and performance of each student. The Course
Co-ordinator is available to provide information to students,
assist them to adjust to their new circumstances
and college life. Students are able to discuss with the Course
Co-ordinator any problem that may be affecting their ability to study.
The Course Co-ordinator will also provide referral for proper advice
regarding problems/issues that may arise including legal and financial
advice including advice on the management of finances. The
Administrator is also available for this information as required.
The Course Co-ordinator is able to provide access to an independent and
inexpensive dispute resolution process. External dispute resolution
services are provided by Graeme Harvey phone: 61 2 9402 7327 or by a
nominee of the student if the student so wishes. The Course
Co-ordinator is available on campus at Administration or by telephone

email.
Students whose first language is not English are particularly encouraged to ask tutors for clarification of issues they do not understand immediately after each session. Parsifal College will ensure that all staff involved with students are suitably qualified and also sensitive to the culture of the students. Review of students' progress and mutual consultation about the situation of students of the courses are an integral part of all tutors' meetings.
Attendance and Expectations
Parsifal College expects students to make study a high priority and, therefore, if you are permitted by the government to be employed, then you must not let your employment interfere with your studies.
