Welcome to Sydney Rudolf Steiner College (formerly Parsifal College). We are a Sydney based adult education college offering courses inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner.

Rudolf Steiner (1861–1925), one of the most influential reformers of the 20th century,inspires contemporary artists, entrepreneurs and scientists throughout the world. He stood for a holistic understanding of the human being and the earth, founded Waldorf/Steiner schools and was the pioneer of biodynamic agriculture. His innovations shape our current cultural and everyday life in a variety of ways, whether this comes to expression in a different approach to nature and technology, medicine and cosmetics or in room and colour compositions.

Steiner’s architectural masterpiece is the Goetheanum in Switzerland. From there Anthroposophy,developed and elaborated by him, spread. It brings humans and the cosmos into close connection, and proceeds from the self-evident existence of a spiritual world. Steiner communicated his thoughts, challenging us to rethink, in over 5,000 lectures and in numerous books, that are today contained in more than 300 volumes.

More than a thousand Waldorf/Steiner schools and several hundred social-therapy centres worldwide, as well as banks, clinics and agricultural enterprises, are to be found on all continents. They attest to the lasting effect and expansion of Steiner’s ideas right into our present time. With the turn of the 21st century, Rudolf Steiner’s future-oriented impulses towards ecological responsibility, the relationship between work and money, and the prevention of health and social problems which are ever present concerns.

Courses at Sydney Rudolf Steiner College include the accredited teacher training in Rudolf Steiner (Waldorf) education, and non accredited courses in early childhood education, biodynamic gardening, visual and performing arts, individual development and Steiner teacher training by distance.

Our courses are creative, practical and inspiring. There are full and part time options and study for teacher training by distance is now available. We are flexible and aim to design a timetable to suit your needs.
